The latest update for "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" is now live.
According to Polygon, besides the usual bug fixes and game improvements, the free update introduces a variety of changes to the game. But there is more than just the update that is coming to "Call of Duty." Aside from the modification of the theater mode of the game, the addition of micro-transactions is making a buzz as well, according to Breathe Cast.
In another news, "Call of Duty's" theater mode has become a fan favorite since the title was released. The change to this mode is said to have an effect on "moment-to-moment" gaming experience. This update was also said to have fixed several reported bugs and deliver better collaboration among online gamers.
Moreover, along with the micro-transactions, this massive update 1.04 for "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" also comes with changes to the weapons or firearms ranging from pistols to high powered assault rifles. Only explosives and grenades have been exempted from changes.
In another news, "Call of Duty Black Ops 3" micro-transactions have been explained positively. According to Segment Next, Treyarch has set up a page to address fan questions regarding this recent addition. Activision discusses in this page that micro-transactions will help players acquired more COD points and the COD points in turn will help players "obtain Rare Supply Drops and Vials of Liquid Divinium." Activision notes that, "COD Points do not affect core progression. Items contained in Supply Drops and GobbleGums remain the same, regardless of how they were unlocked."
According to Activision, COD Points are available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Unfortunately, they are not available on old gen systems. Players, on one hand, will be able to directly purchase Dr. Monty's Factory Vials to unlock GobbleGums which can be used in Zombies soon.
