Top 5 Honorable Mention Movies of 2015

The year 2015 has had its own share of the best and worst movies anybody could ever watch. Here are the top 5 movies you can put on your watch list, if you have not yet watched whichever of those.

5. The Wolfpack is such an unnerving documentary by Filmmaker Crystal Mosselle. It's about the Angulo Family. The kids, a girl and six boys never leave their cramped apartment on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, as per their parent's orders. Without the discipline of school and not ever socializing with other people, they only know life only comes from the movies they watch. It's crazy, you kept thinking about it after you're done watching the film.

4. Love and Mercy - Get into the genius behind the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson, the mental illness that ravaged him and other adversities he has been through. Director Bill Polad and screenwriter Oren Moverman, simply made one of music's best biopic on this one.

3. Ex Machina - MSN Entertainment states that this movie to be a sci-fi done right and will never go out of date. This could be the movie you can relate to 2001 Odyssey where our fears about the technology that has taken over our lives and us.

2. The Big Short - This one takes a serious issue, turning it into a more lighthearted tone. Based on the 2008 financial crash, director Adam Mckay was able to bring in some drama and humor in one film. Unconventional but spot on.

1. Inside Out - Of course what could topple Disney's creations when alike and kids alike are your target audience. Pixar wins this by creating a movie that represents all the emotions in each and every one of us. Thanks to Riley an 11 year old girl who represents all of us in the Movie.

There you have it! The movies in honorable mention and has made history in 2015 so far. We say honorable mention because as of this writing the current Star Wars: The Force Awakens, is reigning on its throne as the number a box office on the day of its release.
