'Five Nights at Freddy's' The Movie In Full Swing? Possibly Tied with Scott Cawthon's Novel 'Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes'

There are rumors that the movie adaptation of Scott Cawthon's "Five Night's at Freddy's" game series is already in full swing. And the rumors suggest that just like Scott Cawthon's novel "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes," which launched earlier than expected, the film might also come out very soon.

According to online publication Korea Portal, there are speculations that the new novel that is on in Amazon for $2.99 is tied to the upcoming movie. The novel reportedly is said to be set a decade after the murders at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. While the novel is being criticized as a canon to the "Five Nights at Freddy's" lore, Director Gill Kenan has been teasing fans about the movie through social media.

Just recently he has retweeted a post from a follower that says, "Quit tweeting things related to FNAF and just write the damn script already!" So far the director has denied or confirm anything.

In an April report ran by The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. allegedly has obtained the rights to produce a "Five Nights at Freddy's" movie. Moreover, it was said that the film will be produced by Roy Lee of Vertigo Entertainment and Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg of KatzSmith Productions.

"We're looking forward to working with Scott to make an insane, terrifying and weirdly adorable movie," Grahame-Smith told The Hollywood Reporter. On the other hand, Cawthon reportedly said, "The story really lends itself to being a movie, and it taps into a largely unexplored niche of horror that a lot of people will be able to relate to."

At that time, the "Five Nights at Freddy's" story was out to writers.
