In the fourth part of TLC's online series "Married by Mom & Dad: CoCo's Story," Courtney Quinn's parents, Tim and Mary, met in person the first potential husband for their daughter.
Tim and Mary get to be the interviewer for their 36-year-old daughter and they first set a meeting with Clark Brooks. Clark, 30 years old, is a businessman in the real estate industry. Clark came well-dressed, which Tim and Mary appreciated.
"We're hopeful," Tim said. "But we're apprehensive."
CoCo's parents prepared several questions and they hope that through those they will learn enough things about Clark that would help them make a good decision.
The first question they asked him was about him having a daughter. As fans can recall when CoCo brought up her list, one of the things that is a no-no for her is a guy with a child.
Clark shared that he's very close with his daughter. She's four years old. He was never married to the mother of his child.
Clark also get to ask CoCo's parents questions about her. It looks like Clark has his own list and he was pleased to hear that Courtney is very independent because that a number one quality he's looking for.
"Sounds like Courtney would be a good wife," Clark said. "Because she's independent. She can take care of herself." He added, "I can do the same thing."
"I would like to be married to Courtney. I like everything they said about her. I'm ready," Clark said.
Tim and Mary's first impression with Clark is good. They say he is a nice and smart guy. But the biggest problem is he has a child.
"With a child comes complications," Mary said. "Sometimes it's great. Sometimes it isn't."
"That's a huge, huge obstacle," Tim agreed.
But regardless of him having a child, could he be the one? Well, it's too early to say as Courtney's parents still have to meet other potential grooms for her.
