The fate of Jon Snow is "Game of Thrones" biggest cliffhanger of all time. Fans refuse to put the rumors to rest, especially after seeing actor Kit Harington on the show's set recently. Now Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, has just dropped a major bomb.
"He's dead. I'm not a liar, I'm very sorry," the 18-year-old actress said in an interview with Absolute Radio, as reported by The Guardian. "I would know of all people, after all. I'm the one who has the script here!" she added.
Williams also slammed the report about Kit Harington's recent slip-up in a Dutch Magazine. "The interview that you've all read that think that, Kit spoiler is fabricated and it was totally false," she said in another interview with TV Line.
Williams claimed she knows what will happen to everyone in the show, because the cast is given a full script at the beginning of each season. Her character is Jon Snow's half-sister, so she keeps up with her family members.
"I always flick through my story first, the suspense is too much. I have to see what I'm up to first and then what other people are up to but it's never the same as seeing on screen - it's nice to watch and get the full effect," she said.
As to what will happen to her character, who became blind in season five's finale episode, Williams confirmed that she will be staying sightless. She said, "In the new season my character is blind, which means I've been wearing contacts on set, which is a good laugh."
Is Williams' new revelation a final confirmation, or just another ploy to throw off GoT fans? We have a few more months to find out, when season six airs in April 2016.
Meanwhile, Williams is busy filming for her upcoming guest appearance on the British show "Dr. Who."
