Builders Bank on Office Spaces to See Through Sluggish Phase

Real estate firms are optimisti c about building more office spaces as they hope to rope in companies whose office building leases are set to expire. Though the office market has been sluggish of late, hopes are high on the new building construction.

New York LaGuardia Airport Hotel Traded for $22 Million

The LaGuardia Airport Marriott Hotel in New York has sold for $22 million, almost one third of its sale price in 2007. The 438 room hotel was acquired by a real estate investing firm, Rubicon Cos.

Former Baseball pitching star, Jeff Nelson's Leavenworth home has reportedly sold for just $575,000, almost half the price that it was listed for. The custom built cabin was listed in 2010 with an asking price of 1.19 million.
